IT Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience in installing and configuring Dell, Aruba, Ruijie, Sophos, Peplink, firewall, load balancer, access point, VLAN, server, switch and systems

  • Providing network administration and support

  • Wireless network operation and maintenance

  • Working with IT support personnel

  • Maintaining network infrastructure

  • Coordinating computer network access and use

  • Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made

  • Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems

  • Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems

  • Contract base in client location - Kuala Lumpur

Job Requirements

  • Preferably Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent

  • Required skill(s): Network Management Skill

  • CCNP/HCNP certifications will be added advantage

  • Advanced knowledge of Network Skills: TCP/IP, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSec VPN) Layer 2/3 switching and VLAN configuration, Firewall security policy

  • Experience in LAN/WAN/VPN construction and debugging experience

  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources

  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
